Church of St.Lawrence was built in the year 1598 by one Father Gonsalo Carvalho. Across the centuries, this sacred space has borne through destruction, vandalism and consequent restorations and yet retains its religious significance. Its exquisite Portuguese architectural style, its artistic carvings and the beautiful decor have all made the church premises a hotbed of footfalls.
